My painting of Buildings are The Metropolis built now ! Winston Sterzel's vision of Chinse cities !

my Comment;

My paintings of the future metropolis are actually happening today in big cities in China ......and other countries in the world )as seen in Serpentza;

The U tube films about China called Serpentza are made by Winston  Sterzel.  This is a very interesting series all about the country which we know so little about.  China is stepping out into the real modern wolrd.  Just like the USA we know from Hollywood films and American  TV Series  I  get the impressions i need about this country.  I appreciate these series very much ....  and with his films i feel that i am travelling with him amd his friend on those streets and roads in a less mysterious land.  There are some Chinese viewers who are not taking well to this production thinking that Winston is trying to criticize their country and their way of life. But they are wrong because Winston is actually doing positive publicity for what he knows and what he loves.  I think what he and his friend C. Milk  are doing with these films is bringing us a human picture of how the Chinese live today .... as a viewer i am less ignorant and much closer to the people and the culture.

Life and career

Sterzel is of German-British heritage;[2] he was born and grew up in South Africa. He has called his father, Frederick Sterzel, "the South African version of Steve Irwin".[3] He moved to China in his mid-twenties[4][5] to work as an English teacher[6] after first visiting on business in 2005.[7][8] In 2015 he was one of twelve South Africans in China profiled by China Radio International.[9] He now lives with his Chinese wife in Shenzhen; he started uploading videos in China in 2007[10] and became a full-time vlogger in 2016.[11] His videos primarily focus on introducing Westerners to China and helping them with visiting and living there;[4][5][12][13][14] sometimes he interviews people on controversial topics by Chinese standards.[11] His first YouTube channel was "The PSP Traveller".[15]
Sterzel has also made videos about motorcycle trips through China. One on a journey to Guilin amassed almost 80,000 views.[4] With Matthew Tye (C-Milk, Laowhy86) and other friends, he has taken extended journeys and produced documentary series titled Conquering Southern China[16][17][18] and Conquering Northern China, for which he and Tye raised money on Kickstarter so that the trip and the episodes could be longer.[18] He operates the YouTube channel ADVChina with Tye; as of January 2015 he was also head engineer of a custom motorcycle business, Churchill Custom Motorcycles, which he started with Tye and another friend.[14]

Article from "The New York Times" Madagascar and Vanila plantations Photographs and Text by FINBARR O’REILLY AUG. 29, 2018

 Comment:  I once found a bag near a shopping Mall in Paris ....  It looked like a girl owned it because it was full of makeup bits and pieces and there were a lot of cards in it , one of which belonged to a buisness school and this had her name on it.  The student was from Madagascar and i was sighing to myself when i called the school and the receptionist wasnt helpful in finding the person i was looking for.  I went to the consolate or Embassy one morning , spending money on a Taxi in order to give the bag to a safe person working there.  The consolate reminded me of  consolates or embassies representing very poor countries ...   .... where is  all the money and wealth going ? SAMBAVA, Madagascar — Bright moonlight reflected off broad banana leaves, but it was still hard to see the blue twine laced through the undergrowth, a tripwire meant to send the unwary tumbling to the ground. “This is the way the thieves come,” sai...

Abigail Heyman’s Groundbreaking Images of Women’s Lives (from The New Yorker)

Photo Booth Abigail Heyman’s Groundbreaking Images of Women’s Lives By Naomi Fry November 1, 2019 “Houma Teenage Beauty Contest,” 1971. Photographs by Abigail Heyman In a two-page spread featured early on in “ Growing up Female ,” a photography book by Abigail Heyman, from 1974, two black-and-white pictures are laid out side by side. The left-hand photo shows a reflection of a little girl, from the shoulders up, gazing at herself in a bathroom mirror. The child, who is perhaps four or five, with dark, wide-set eyes and a pixie haircut, is separated from her likeness by a counter, whose white-tiled expanse is littered with a variety of beauty products: perfume bottles, creams, and soaps. These quotidian markers of feminine routine are accompanied by an element of fantasy; gazing at herself, the little girl stretches a slinky into a makeshift tiara atop her head. Seemingly mesmerized by her own image, she is captured at the innoce...
