Dopo l’incidente che nel 2013 cambiò per sempre la vita di Michael Schumacher, la moglie e il papà della leggenda della Formula 1 torneranno a parlare davanti alle telecamere.
I due appariranno in un nuovo documentario sulla vita del pilota tedesco che si intitolerà “Schumacher”, che dovrebbe arrivare nei cinema di Germania e Svizzera nel prossimo dicembre. Un trailer sarà però proiettato al prossimo Festival di Cannes, che inizierà il 14 maggio.
Corinna, la moglie di Schumi, ha parlato raramente alle telecamere da quando il marito è stato protagonista del grave incidente sciistico da cui ancora non si è ripreso. Il motivo è cercare di mantenere la massima riservatezza sulle condizioni di salute del marito. Insieme a lei, apparirà anche il padre del sette volte campione del mondo (cinque di questi arrivati con la Ferrari).
I produttori del documentario, Michael Wech e Hanns-Bruno Kammertöns, hanno dichiarato che il film vuole ricordare i 50 anni di Schumacher e il 25esimo anniversario del suo primo titolo mondiale con la Benetton. “Il film sarà un ritratto, non solo di un’incomparabile carriera, ma anche delle molteplici sfaccettature di un uomo dalla personalità complessa”.
Nel film saranno presenti filmati e immagini mai visti prima, conservati nell’archivio della famiglia Schumacher. La manager del campione tedesco, Sabine Kehm, si è detta entusiasta del progetto: “La formidabile carriera di Michael merita una celebrazione di questo tipo. Siamo molto contenti che questo sarà realizzato da persone così sensibili e ambiziose”.

Immigration and The Everyman editions (starting in 1906) was one of the first books i remember in my parents library; it reminds me of "Everywoman" and Every hu"man"i have ever known. I was born from my mother who was an amazingly beautiful woman who had married for "attraction", to my father who was her first cousin. They had grown up in the same community in South India. My mother was the main personality of our family mainly because she was energetic and ambitious and rather aggressive. My father (even tho full of testosterone looks and behavior) was dominated by my mother who was probably much more energetic than him. They did have traumatizing arguments about money partly because he was living by the philosophy that each man or woman should act according to his or her talents (and not roles).
