As the new century rolls on into it's twentieth year ... we think that climate change is the biggest issue , but perhaps today the population of the world should be of the utmost importance to us because we can do something about it .... "we" as in .... "the human family " occupying a lot of space and changing the face of the earth as we think fit !
I always remember my grandfather who was an educated man dedicated to books and Learning. He told me and my cousins once that he never wanted to have eight children , but when he was married to his wife , bith contrôle methods were not efficient enough and his poor wife got pregnant frequently , and without them wanting so many children , they simply couldnt and were not able to contrôle this issue.
At Art School in London i met a lovely Australian blond who had had several abortions and she was only 21 .... she told me about the pill that you took the next day ....
A lot of women in the third world could have a choice if they could reach birth control methods .... and contraception is the first thing i think about today when i look at what is happening in the news ....
Why dont we try to educate people not to have more than 2 chilren per family .... but seriously more than encouragement i think keeping the numbers down should be a law , just like it has been for the past years in China .
